QUELL (QUench Experiment on Long Length): project leader

An international medium size experiment at the SULTAN facility on quench propagation in cable-in-conduit superconductors.

SULEIKA: leader of cryogenic part

Development of a new Neon refrigerator (the biggest ever built) for a prototype of a high temperature superconducting power transmission cable, AC-loss measurements using the novell double lock-in technique and Neon-cooled AC current leads.

SUPER-3HC Cavity for SLS: leader of cryogenic design and refrigeration system layout.

A superconducting idle resonant cavity for improuvment of the bunch length in SLS cooled by a Helium refrigerator.

80kA back up current leads for ITER/TFMC: project leader

Two 80kA conventional current leads as back up solution for the test of the ITER Toroidal Field Model Coil in the TOSCA facility, Karlsruhe
